Reality Check: Europeans United a Divided, Imploding Africa

Time to sober up. Europeans united Africa. Here is how.

You have probably been in a class or been bombarded with tales of how old white men sat at the 1884 Berlin Conference to carve up Africa greedily among themselves. 

That conference is also the genesis of Africa’s ills today and then, some say. 

It’s time to revisit this and set a few records straight. Europeans actually united Africa. 

At the time of the partition, Africa had over 10,000 polities or what you would call nations if they were allowed to morph into today’s Westphalian style countries. See the Murdock Ethnic Map for reference.

How does one divide 10,000 into about 40 parts? And what would Africa be if those zillion ethnic groups were left to their devices?

If countries were to be made from Africa's ethnic groups - United? 

The partition did not also disrupt a united Africa or any wholesome kingdoms, if we can trace the last time Africa was more divided it would have to be just before Africa was carved up among Europeans. In fact, Europeans had to create chieftainships in places where there were none such as in the acephalous villages of the Igbos in Southern Nigeria.

The French imposed chef de cantons who were mere clerks. Today Africans deeply respect traditional authority and rally around their chiefs, which is a unifying factor and also a product of the partition and of course Frederik Lugard. To understand this, we need to go back, way back to the beginning of the 1800s and start in South Africa.

Shaka Zulu was rising and militarizing the Zulu Kingdom this, though contested (see The Cobbing Controversy), sparked chaos in Southern Africa -a period known as the Mfecane. It can be argued that it was the first major widespread war as it saw up to 2 million Africans die as tribes fleeing from Shaka Zulu invaded/pillaged/ran over others as they themselves fled northwards.

The Mfecane saw Zwangendaba's men reaching as far as northern Malawi, conquering local tribes there. All this was before 1840. I should know because my own tribe’s kingdom was subjugated by these marauding Ngonis and it took the British to restore the Chikulamayembe Kingdom in the first decade of the 1900s and prevent the warlike Ngonis from finishing off my tribesmen. They had already killed off most men and taken over land and women.

My own tribe - the Tumbuka - had arrived in what is now Malawi at the end of the 1700s. There were frequent wars and a genocide was instituted by the other newly arrived tribed in Malawi that saw the elimination of the original inhabitants of the land, the Akafula people.

This answers part of the question I posed above, if Africa was left alone, tribes like mine would have simply have been eliminated and enslaved or as the Akafula/Batwas/Twa saw, simply genocided out of the equation.

After 1840, we know through David Livingstone’s journals that the whole place was either decimated by slave raiders, tribal war and general chaos. Bodies were flowing down the Zambezi as Bantu killed Bantu all along the Zambezi deep into Manyuema or what is now Congo.  (See:  2003 — INTO AFRICA: The Epic Adventures of Stanley & Livingstone. After the partition - bad? 

There were wars in Ethiopia and there was strife everywhere, after all the movement of Africans about the continent before European contact was all about conquest and fleeing from conquest.

The partition did not split Africa up. It united a broken continent. And with resources fast disappearing with the explosion of population in the 1800s, the partition of Africa might have prevented major disaster in Africa.

It is not like the partitioned also disturbed a rich Africa either. The population of Africa only started exploding circa 1800 following the introduction of maize by the Portuguese. Maize meant that Bantu Africans did not have to rely on poor grain and starting sustaining more numbers. 

Here is where I will insert my disclaimer. Yes, the borders the Europeans imposed on Africa are arbitrary and they have resulted in grouping incompatible groups such as the Kikuyu and Luo under one nation or splitting groups such as the Chewa between three nations (Mozambique, Zambia and Malawi).

While this has been blamed on some conflicts, it is not like Africans are not independent and cannot go back to their old ‘borders’ if they want.

I have also deliberately left out the atrocities and pain inflicted by Europeans on Africans with their colonialism/exploitation that followed. That is for another day, today I sought to zoom in on the question of Africa as being more united following the partition and not divided.

So when fake Pan-Africanists invoke the Berlin Conference to try to deflect from the fact that they cannot lift Africa out of poverty or ignorance, show them this.

 

Is China Using Blacks to Distract Population from Coronavirus, Economic Woes?

Hundreds of millions of Chinese are still in virtual coronavirus quarantine and yet to report for work in the Chinese New Year, millions of firms are facing bankruptcy and the country’s factory activity shrank at a record rate in February. With such gloomy circumstances and so much not to like it seems there is something most Chinese can all at least agree on: they really hate black people.

Last week, China, which is one of the hardest places on earth to emigrate to (only had less than 1500 naturalized citizens in 2010) suddenly announced that it was seeking opinions on a draft to make it easier for foreigners to gain permanent residence in China. Bad move.

The backlash to the announcement was instant and sustained, it equals or surpasses the unprecedented backlash that followed the death of the whistle-blower doctor from Wuhan.  The only difference was unlike the backlash on the death of Li Wenliang being censored, the current one is being left alone if not fanned.

Multiple hashtags of the issue started trending on Weibo a Chinese copy of Twitter, every post by authorities or state media was quickly bombarded with hundreds of thousands of comments on the proposed bill. One of the hashtags was read almost 4 billion times in a country of 1.4 billion.

Very few of the comments of posts provided any intellectual justification for their opposing the bill, some did: saying the move would foster corruption and take away jobs, but most only stated, zoomed in and focused on one thing: black people.

People posted about how China would be taken over by strong black genes, how Chinese women would be raped, how blacks would bring crime. Some simply stated that they really hated black people.

Citizens posted pictures of officials in crosshairs and some depicted an official bent over and a black man in an orange prison uniform and the N-word plastered on his chest seemingly sodomizing him. Apparently the official, Yang Yiyong had said some positives words about inter-racial marriage.

Every Chinese person who could find a video of black people doing crime did so and plastered it on social media. One of the most widely circulated shows two black teens shoplifting in an unidentified country.  Another video from the 120db movement in Europe which has young white women describing being harassed by refugees also got widely circulated.

Somewhere in Africa

For effect, pictures of black men with Chinese girls were plastered all over the place and the women were called whores. The vitriol was reminiscent of the recent controversy over a program by Shandong University to foster cultural communication during which netizens also used pictures of Chinese women with brown and black men to make their points, to bully the girls and to stroke nationalism. 

Even though gory videos are not allowed on Chinese social media, it seemed Weibo, QQ and Wechat made an exception if the offender was black.

Fake news was also a big part of the narrative and it was pushed by accounts some of whom are verified. One involved a picture of black people had words saying that France is now 80 percent black.

One picture featured a banner in Africa shouting: ‘Rape Rape Rape: You can do it in China. Refugees can do anything. Contact the Chinese Embassy Now! You will not be punished.’ This text was wrapped around a drawing of three black men pinning down and raping an Asian woman.

Ohers circulated a picture of pure yellow corn next to another  batch with dark purple corn overshadowing the yellow.

Some shared accounts of how they fear walking around on campuses where black people also study, some shared pictures of blacks on Chinese trains. Meme after meme rained.

I have lived in China since 2013, I know it is one of the most racist countries on earth, but this week’s eruption on social is one I have not seen before.  Even some of my former Chinese students were blatantly posting about blacks bringing HIV to China and their hatred of black people. 

It is fashionable for Chinese schools to openly advertise jobs and demand that only white people apply. In some Chinese cities, schools would rather have Russians who can barely speak English than have black English professors. This is something every black person who spends enough time in China knows. The current racist movement is however a new thing. 

Threats were issued

With the economy in bad shape, with households in financial trouble could someone be provoking fears among the population to make them forget their actual problems? It sure seems so because with all their censorship and their toughness against the topics that criticise government, authorities seem to be happy letting this one gain steam.

None of the naturalized citizens of China that I have seen are black, it is already hard for Africans to even apply for visas to China and some hotels in China blatantly refuse to let in anyone with an African passport.

It is fashionable being racist in China. When one rapper was accused of promoting drug use, he apologised and blamed it on ‘black music,’ and he was forgiven. One wonders how people like me who listen to nothing but black music are seen in China.  There is also a massive movement of Chinese going to Africa and making demeaning videos of unsuspecting natives in Mandarin for clicks and views in China.

Chinese greatest fear: use your imagination

Chinese can be racist all they want, but to use blackness as a scapegoat in times of economic and social turmoil is disturbing.  It is more disturbing if one considers that there are a million Chinese in Africa and the author Howard French found that Chinese push African governments to lower immigration restrictions against Chinese as part of trade deals.

Black people are subjected to a medical before and after they enter China, most of the HIV clusters in China have no links Africa. They come from the women Chinese men are fast-tracking and traffic into marriage from Myanmar to fill the shortage of women in China, from gay men who are not targeted by HIV outreach messages and from bad practices in collecting blood from poor and desperate locals who used to sell blood for survival. Yet the black man is the bogeyman.

When the coronavirus broke out China constantly complained of being stigmatized, it even expelled reports of the Wall Street Journal over a headline it deemed racist. All that now seems very questionable if anyone looks at what is on Chinese social media now.

The most retweeted tweet in the world was one that promised people they would win money, even then it only got retweeted about 5 million times. Compare that to the billions of views and hundreds of millions of comments on the issue, it should show you how hateful just one country is towards blacks.

Some would argue that it is simply Chinese being against foreign influence, but that would be not correct because even though there are more whites in China and more white-Chinese couples in China, they are conspicuously missing from the uproar and slander.

There are many African students studying in China as China desperately tries to appear internationalized, many Africans also jet into southern China to buy products that keep many businesses in China alive.

 How is it possible to hate the very people one needs? How long before all the social media vitriol turns into real violence against black people in China? What is the end game?

Secession? - Yes, Secession is Good!

Big people have spoken against federalism or secession of the peoples north of Nkhamenya, people like Chief Kyungu, Chikulamayembe, and big heads like Vuwa Kaunda. At this point it seems secession is bad, but with all due respect to my elders, I beg to differ, secession (federalism) is good and needs to be pursued, here is why.

Why Secessionists Secede

People secede to fix historical injustices, to protect their interests to better manage their affairs or just to show that they are free humans, this is rooted in the choice theory.  The PKK in Turkey, the Southern States in USA, Tibetans and Turkic Muslims in China, Some tribes in Thailand, Some Caucasians in South Africa, Some folks in Spain, Scotland, Eastern Ukrainians and even the ISIS guys…so many people want to secede and as such, feeling like seceding is no shame at all.

In the case of the people north of Kasungu, secession would be good in the following ways:

Millions of jobs would be created. A new state requires infrastructure: builders, transporters, administrators. Ministries would be created, ambassadors sent out, prisons, parliament and stadia built...many idle youths engaged.

Secession is a mark of liberty. Anyone is free to manage their affairs and if anyone secedes, they would feel good, certainly as they attain their sought after need, some sort of self actualization or catharsis, if you catch my drift.

Resources would better be managed. Bingu wa Mutharika said the people north of Kasungu dominate universities and civil service yet contribute little to the GDP, this would be a good opportunity for the rest of Malawi to better share the resources without worrying of parasites from north of Jenda.

On the other hand, the people north of Kasungu would use their little GDP to carter for themselves without feeling like Lilongwe is stealing. They would generate their own income from Chikangawa Forest, Lake Malawi, Nyika National Park or whatever they can sell to get by.

Secession would free the people north of Kasungu of wanton debt. A new state would not inherit any debt from the World Bank or IMF unless that money went into their territory which in this case is likely to be little, they would then start afresh, paying only for what they eat.

Secession would also be a good way to escape the bad government in Lilongwe. The archaic laws that punish gays, criminalize abortion, give too much power to the president would all be dumped. Imagine how a constitution drafted by minds born after the World War II would look like? It would reflect life as this century demands.

Secession would revitalize people, with many politically alienated and feeling powerless in the current political process, they would for the first time participate in a process they truly own and one in which their say can matter.

Secession would be in tandem age old black consciousness ideals. You see, the state of Malawi was not voluntarily created or endorsed by the native populace; it was forced on everyone by the Europeans during the scramble for Africa.

The Europeans knew but never cared about the different tribes that seem never to cleave when they made 

African nations. Secession would be the first step in creating an Africa by Africans; it is a good way to truly be independent and saying f**k you to the racist colonialists past and present.

T/A Kyungu said Malawi is united; he is one of the most naïve chiefs if that is his real outlook on Malawi. 

Malawi is not warlike but it is still one of the most divided nations. In courts people are identified by their tribes, in university people’s villages count – the kind of stuff that was happening in Rwanda before the genocide switch flipped. In Malawi tribe is silent, but material and where tribe is material, unity is utopia.

The people north of Kasungu are easy to mark, they have certain names, and they speak certain languages. In schools their kids cannot study in their native language, they have to learn another tribe’s language.

In workplaces if they are two of similar surnames it is fishy…this is true even for a soccer team. It is easy to feel threatened when you are being watched and marked and treated like vermin – is anyone surprised that these people want out?

From Kamuzu Banda to Peter Mutharika, it has always been the same. Select a few people from there as tokens and keep the north nothing but a green patch of dirt.

The people currently calling for secession in Malawi are greedy parrots and of shaky moral fibre, agreed, but to call their arguments shaky as well is dangerous.

You see, Karl Marx argued that an oppressor works hard to keep the oppressed, most of the people against secession are those that benefit from the status quo…here I will not mention the honourable chiefs like Kyungu and elders like Vuwa Kaunda out of respect.

And the thing about secession is that those outside the region have no say, the fate of someone in Karonga cannot be determined by someone in Nsanje, and so if anyone wants out, they are.

Nobody is going to lose their lives, Malawi houses some of the least militant people, we don’t have the guns or balls to start a war…the only time anyone is going to die is when a political idea like secession is taken personal by those with violent intents.

Opponents of secession should be coming to the fray with plausible and practical solutions like how the nation will ensure that is inclusive now that some sections say they are alienated - not just saying secession is bad and appealing to vague and abstract terms – unity and harmony.

Why should people stay together if they cannot reason together? The Sunni man can never truly live with a Shia, it is keeping them together as in the case of Iraq that creates trouble, some elements will never cleave and in Africa that element is tribe...from Rwanda, to Nigeria to Botswana.

I only spoke up because people want to hide, sidestep, sugar-coat and ignore the divisions amongst Malawians. This is Africa the land of tribes, if we are to run a nation, we must first acknowledge diversity and its issues and then do something about these issues otherwise...well, secession?

Secession is good, everyone needs to secede. Kamuzu Banda successfully championed the secession Nyasaland from the ‘stupid federation’ of Rhodesia and Nyasaland. You also need to secede from the oppressive landlord and build your own house, secede from your intrusive pastor and lead life your way, secede from your demanding wife and live a peaceful life, secede from fake friends and start over, secede from Facebook and live real life.

Now.

China’s Abortion Scene is Inspiring

As someone who is passionate about abortion, among other issues, I trekked to Jinan Maternity and Children Healthcare Hospital to check out the abortion scene in China…fly on the wall style.

On the third floor of the hospital a crowd of couples wait for their names to be called out on the PA. Girls, women, ladies and men stream in and out of the establishment clasping papers detailing appointments, medical tests results and other whatnots.

At the further end of the floor, a woman occasionally emerges from behind a door helped by a nurse… her partner steps up to help her onto the resting area before they slowly walk to the escalators, down into the parking lot and disappear into the Jinan crowds.

With each woman that exists another is called in and as the next one comes out with a squint, the emotions on the ladies on the waiting lines are easy to read…most are afraid…but their fear is unjustified.

A nurse comes to the seated crowd to counsel them on contraception…some seem as young as 20 and some as advanced as 45.

As per 2009, China was reportedly seeing more than 13 million abortions every year, abortion being legal in China, it is no shame… there are no pro-life protesters in the car park, no judging looks being exchanged, all is as normal as at a Malaria ward in Africa.

The hospital takes time to examine the ladies wanting to abort, all kinds of tests get done: from PH to HIV via HBcAg and many others you don’t know and don’t need to… even the zygote/embryo’s pulse is charted, there is no hurry…one woman had her abortion postponed because she had a flu and not ready for the surgery.

If China banned abortion, it would have the highest number of deaths of women due to unsafe abortions.

Let us take Malawi, in southern Africa, every year 70,000 women attempt abortion…but abortion there is illegal and can see you get thrown in jail for up to 14 years. Funnily, in Malawi, in 2012 there were only 5 condoms per person per year, condoms being the main source of contraception.

And it is not just Malawi, In Africa  and Latin America where abortion laws are heavily restrictive have the highest abortions per 1000 women aged 15-44 , 29 and 32 respectively (2008).

No matter what happens, women will always get abortions (Guttmacher Institute) and the abortion rate in the world has always hovered around 29.

If you restrict abortion services, women will turn to unsafe means. In Malawi women insert objects into the womb to pluck the zygote, some ingest washing powder and some go to traditional healers who do not even understand anatomy 101.

Here at the Jinan hospital, women are given medicine to dilate their cervices and an experienced doctor does the surgery while the woman is put to sleep, all tools are sterilized. All the women go home, in Malawi, an abortion could be the trip to the morgue, to barrenness or a long time in the hospital.

In Malawi for example, 17 percent of maternal deaths are attributable to unsafe abortions.

The men that made the law (and happen not to have vaginae) are mostly inspired by religion and culture. To them once a woman falls pregnant, she cannot go back. There’s no choice, even when condoms are scarce and their use largely to the man’s discretion.

In a single ejaculation there are millions of potential babies and a normal man like me ejaculates at least five times a week (haha)… if we are so concerned of seeds why do we not ban wanton ejaculations then?

Come and abort with us: Spotted in Tibet

Truth is, if we refuse women abortion, they get it anyway. If we force women to keep babies, they will only be more and more rejected, abandoned and homeless kids. If we keep being arrogant, more women will die, along with the accidental pregnancy.

There are many ways of preventing pregnancy, you can use a condom, or use the withdrawal method, or take pills but for some reasons, these ways fail or are unavailable (we all know sex sometimes comes like a thief), then you can abort…nothing to open ancient books about here.

I step out of the hospital and head back to my place, I see no street kid, no funeral procession, no church… just banners offering abortion services at half price…

Atheism fueling China’s Rise, Lessons for Africa

According to a 2012 Gallup poll, 47% of Chinese people were confirmed atheists ranking as the most atheist nation on earth.

Public Speaker, Media Trainer TJ Walker and video blogger an American, commenting on the poll said this is a good recipe to China becoming the superpower to rival America.

Walker says that the Chinese’ lack of religion will make them progress as they will not be weighed down by superstition, their schools will focus on science instead of teaching what is in line with ‘some old book.’

 Let’s not make this about US versus China; I want to discuss the developing world, especially Africa. Gallup actually has another poll that lists poor countries as being the most religious. 

For Example, the people of Malawi, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Niger, Sri Lanka (very poor and sorry nations) were asked by Gallup: Is religion an important part of your life? And behold 99% of the respondents said ‘yes.’

China was a nation of peasants not long ago, among other factors; I think the fact that religion is excluded from daily life has made it a very successful story.

On a Sunday in say, Jinan city, students still attend their classes at university, traffic still flows normally and banks are open like on normal week days, construction work goes on unchecked everywhere.

Compare that to Malawi, very poor, with 99% of its people saying religion rocks and is important in life: government offices are abandoned by Friday noon, no work for two days and people report for work on Monday still dazed from drunkenness, banks close by 3pm and do not open over the weekends.

In the capital city of Malawi, Lilongwe, on a Sunday, you can have a car race in the highway as it is abandoned; shops close as people flock to churches.

It is ironic how people go to church to ask for success and work this little, I thought the best way to succeed was to work hard? Laborare est orare!

And the coming in of these noisy Nigerian and African-American inspired Pentecostal churches is making things worst. I know someone who told me she wakes up at 3am to pray so she can find a job. You meet an African in China and the first thing they ask you is about churchgoing.

Even in America, Gallup listed Mississippi as the most religious state, I looked up the state and it is the poorest of America’s states. Poor US states like Mississippi, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Alabama are very religious and have more Africans.

The African, wherever he may be, thinks that there is something beyond the clouds that can lift them from woes. So in the 500 years of slavery he prayed and God was busy. Exit Slavery and enter colonialism and the African prayed but the gods and God never listened until the 60s.

Now, while the rest of the world has moved on and is racing to sharpen their sciences; nuclear weapons, medicine, industry and even graphics, the African is still praying and to a foreign religion.

No offense, but the God of Israel has one son and that son is Jewish (no African represented in heaven) and all his activities happened in Israel, but right now the Christian in Central Africa Republican is more passionate than the Pharisees of old.

Islam:  Muhammad and the holy sites are far from Africa and yet the African in Nigeria or Somalia thinks they can somehow pray hard and receive some mysterious blessings.

Religion is the biggest hurdle hampering development (universally) and the fact that the Communist Party in China bans it among its members makes a rational government and there are no stupid questions when issues such as stem cell research or abortion rise.

If the Vatican says condoms are not holy and the African would rather get HIV than use the condom; one day the people of Darfur will be rescued by faith.

Even as an African reading this, you are thinking,'he is going to burn in hell,' which is the very thing i am talking about, you are too bound by religion and cannot see that Africans live in hell and there is no other hell after they die.

And sadly, the more religious countries are, the more intolerant they are… for example, just imagine a Jew marrying an Ethiopian and how his uncles would react or a Hutu marrying a Tutsi and the violence in CAR sums up this one.

And its embarrassing how Africa claims to be so religious but the HIV statistics shows they are having too much unprotected sex with multiple partners and the tribal hatred, the homophobia and the corruption all reek of satanism than Islam or Christianity. 

Instead of working to realize that religion has not worked for Africa and the African this far, right now many Africans are crying and have their eyes shut (not studying) trying to placate a God with a Jewish son and an Allah with his base in Mecca.

So many in Africa and in the developing world accept poverty because religion teaches them that its actually difficult to go to heaven as a rich man; that it is not bad to die young or poor because there is good life in heaven - roads paved with gold and all.

Education, especially sciences are viewed in suspicion, religion teaches that all that is not sensible can be explained with faith and that questioning God will only run you mad. Such big African heads and yet afraid to ask questions.

Universities coming up in Malawi now overwhelmingly offer theology courses as if the graduates will pray the nation to prosperity.

Right now the Africans in Jamaica, in America or Nigeria probably think that their riches and blessings are around them and can be unlocked by praying hard. In China, however, all the Chinese does is work around the clock and blessings flow and most Chinese cannot even say who Deborah was (or even Saul.)

As Karl Marx argued Religion is the opiate of the masses; the rich love religion because it makes the poor accept their state and keep working at cheap rates; the poor love it because it offers them reason to live on.

Is it not funny that South Africans were robbed, killed and oppressed for decades and they ‘forgave’ their oppressors overnight and continue to live in oppression with little protest? The answer is…religion.

The European that brought religion is now in the pub enjoying some cold beers; the African is praying hard, waiting for blessings and riches…the Chinese are going to the top, as Confucius taught them never to mind heaven, hell or life after death.

Just a thought, in heaven, there will be many Africans in heaven, drinking wines, walking on paved roads, singing all day and they will finally laugh as the Chinese and Europeans burn in hell.

That’s after we die, now, now take our oil, land, don’t give us education or vaccines and we won’t use condoms - if death comes its God’s wish and remember its easier for a rich man to enter heaven than it is for a camel to pass through a pin hole. (Mark 10:25)

Sigh. Prayer is really just doing nothing and hoping that someone somewhere is doing something about a given problem.

More than 23,000 desperate asylum seekers fleeing to Europe from war torn countries mostly Africans have drowned in the Mediterranean since the turn of the century, The UK’s Express reported.

‘The shocking figures have led the international humanitarian charity Human Rights Watch to call on the EU to reform its immigration policies, and focus more on saving lives than barring entry,’ reported the paper.

The paper goes on to cite reports, etc but my issue is in what the paper did not report: Africa.

Fine there are wars, poverty and diseases…but if everyone flees who will fix it? Who will make the war go away? And who will erect structures to make the diseases get contained and the poverty history?

If the able bodied flee, what about those who cannot flee? And is this conceding defeat that Africa has failed as a continent?  Why is the EU the destination when there is the AU? Why flee from Sudan to Europe and not say Ethiopia?

I think it’s time the EU and other destinations for refugees and migrants shut down and seal the gates so that if the Africans fight or mess up their diapers, they should stay in their stinky dank diapers until they drie out.

The wars will never stop by running and Africa will never develop if its able minds get sucked into Europe, this is exactly what happened with slavery only now the migration is voluntary.

Some of the people fleeing to Europe have done some sick things in Africa and it would be in Europe’s disadvantage to absorb criminals, so it is time to get tough.

Yes, we all know that Africa is largely or partly poor because of Europe, but after independence, the African was supposed to get a grip and make his land one that was livable.

Instead the African is busy hating his neighbor for reasons no one can understand anymore: different languages; different areas of origin; water; cattle grazing land and other funny reasons.

The 23,000 that have gone down should be the last, the rest should not leave Africa and should make their own heaven or die trying.

There is no honor in living in a foreign land, I read about a Ghanaian guy that has to stand in the pool in Dubai all day serving drinks to tourists, how does one even go home and play man with such humiliation?

Africa is a land of potential, still untapped and very ready to be and nobody should go a foreign office and claim they have no home.
